A Crying Shame!
Gill woke in the middle of the night to find her husband Andy missing from their marital bed.
In the stillness of the night, she could hear a muffled sound coming from downstairs.
Gill went downstairs and looked all around. Andy was nowhere to be seen but listening again, she could definitely hear moaning.
So she went down to the basement to find Andy, crouched in the corner facing the wall, and sobbing.
“What’s wrong with you?” she asked him.
“Remember when your father caught us fooling around when you were 15 Gill?” he replied. “
He said, I had two choices: I could either marry you when you were 16, or spend the next 20 years of my life in prison.”
Baffled, Gill said, “Yes, I remember. So?”
“Well…I would have gotten out today!”
